At The Welcome Table, our books are designed around exploring faith, sharing stories, and fostering conversation!

In each book series, Advent at The Welcome Table and Seasons of Welcome, we offer a resource for our adult readers as well as our kiddos. Each resource can be read independently or in tandem with the other to bring the conversations full circle within your family or community. 

Lastly, these books were created with an intentionally diverse design so that they can be used in your own personal practice of reflection, within community groups and in your religious settings.

Advent at The Welcome Table is a three-book series: Advent at The Welcome Table, Advent Table Talk, and Advent at The Kids Table. 

This series was written to be an offering of Hope, Peace, Joy, & Love in the Advent season, and each book is intentionally designed to be used independently or in tandem with one another. 

Advent at The Welcome Table is written for the adult reader. It is a resource of daily reflections that meet us in the holiday season with grace and renewal. Each day offers an invitation to come as you are, to meet God anew in stories and scripture, and to see the community around us through the renewed understanding of God’s gift of love for the world.

Advent Table Talk is a daily journal and discussion guide for your journey through the Advent season. This resource can be paired with Advent at The Welcome Table as a companion guide. Each day offers three daily prompts that can be used to guide discussion in a group setting or for individual reflective journaling responses. Advent Table Talk is meant to inspire deeper reflection within yourself and meaningful connection with others.

Advent at the Kids Table is jam-packed with stories, Scripture, and fun ways to bring more hope, peace, joy, and love into your kiddo’s Advent season in more tangible ways! This resource is designed to be read with an adult or independently by our big kid readers. Each day offers stories that correlate to the lessons found in Advent at The Welcome Table, along with activities and conversation starters that correlate to the prompts found in Advent Table Talk. This allows you to easily bring the conversation full circle within your family or community.
