If we are all points of light, the closer we are to one another - the more connected we are to one another - the brighter we’ll shine. Conversely, that which separates us from one another diminishes us. 

We do indeed need each other. We cannot Jesus said, “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5.14-16). Inasmuch as Christ is our light, we are to radiate that light - that hope, that peace, that joy, that love - for all to see. Let that be so in the year ahead! 

Happy New Yea God of Love, 
Help us to recognize the love at the heart of who we are called to be. Allow us to prioritize it, to live into it more fully, in all that we do. May others see your love revealed in our living, and be inspired toward paths of righteousn Jesus was born as a sign of God’s love for the world. What if we saw ourselves that way too — as signs of God’s love?

I’ll keep watch with you, this Advent season, for signs of love and goodness. So that, like the shepherds a When we live into our calling to love others the way we are loved, we perfect the image of the divine in ourselves; we become who we are meant to be. And that’s the only thing that matters. 💛✨

Open our eyes to the needs around us. Make our hands ready to serve with compassion, and help us to carry your joy into the lives of those I meet. May our actions reflect your love, bringing comfort to the weary and hope to the forgotten Joy often returns not when life feels easy, but when love moves us to show up—for others and for ourselves.

At some point this week, choose one person—friend, coworker, neighbor, or even a stranger—and write them a note of blessing This week we celebrate the Joy of the advent season. We are reminded of the forgiveness and redemption born into the world for all of us through the arrival of Jesus. This Jesus whose very life embodied God’s unconditional love—a love tha God of Peace, ​​​​​​​​
meet me in the places where I feel unfinished and overwhelmed. Help me release my need for perfection and trust that You are present in every imperfect moment. Teach my heart to rest in Your steady love, knowing that all will b We celebrate this season, not because everything is perfect, but because, in our very great imperfection, God loves us and will not leave us. God is there in the neighbors and organizations that ensure everyone in their community is provided for. God God made God’s self known to us in Jesus to show us that – in the face of all our short-comings – God extends to us hope, joy, love, and peace. 

When all seemed lost, peace was born. All may not be perfect, but all will be well. 💛 God of Hope,​​​​​​​​
Be with us in the heaviness of our days and in the weariness of our hearts. Let your light shine in the corners of our lives where shadows linger. Let your hope take root in us and grow this season. Help us to see the ways we can
