Summer has a way of inviting us to slow down, savor the moment, and make space for what matters most. This year, our Summer of Welcome series carries a special purpose. Following the devastating fire that impacted several small businesses in our hom Hi there! It’s been a while since we’ve popped in to introduce ourselves and we know there are quite a few new faces in this beautiful community. We are The Welcome Table Team also known by some as “The Bunce Girls!” 💛 Orig Sometimes the lives of those we love become woven so deeply into our own that even death cannot fully separate us. We carry them forward — not perfectly, not without sorrow — but faithfully, lovingly, and together. On this Memorial Day, God of Truth and Compassion, Awaken our hearts to the needs and realities around us. Give us courage to respond with love, humility, and mercy, even when growth feels uncomfortable. Help us follow the example of Christ by bringing healing, justice, God of time and eternity, Teach me to be still enough to notice Your presence in each unfolding moment. Slow my hurried heart, that I may awaken gently to the life, beauty, and calling set before me today. May I live this day not just marking time, The pocket watch, in its steady ticking, has made me think differently about time. So often, we treat time as something to mark and measure—something to divide into segments as we move from one task or obligation to the next. As we see the world beginning to bloom, we are reminded that God is always at work—renewing, restoring, and calling us forward. Our spring series, Awaken, explores what it The holy creator is always at work making beautiful things from the dust of our lives, from the mud of the garden. The resurrected Jesus, standing in that garden, invites us to look again at the places in our own lives that feel wasted. The relation As we enter into Holy Week, we do so as Jesus once did, lamenting for our world – crying out with all of nature for peace, for an end to suffering, for an end to the nightmare of war. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Jesus knew there are things that make for Loving God, When fear opens wide beneath us, help us to trust the love with which you hold us.
